【摘要】:Thisclassificationcontainspairsofscalesforclassifyinganaspectoftheserviceabilityofanofficefacility,thatis,thecapabilityofanofficefacilitytomeetcertainpossiblerequirementstoprotectoccupantassets.Eachpairofscales,showninFigs.2through9,printedsidebysideonapage,areforclassifyingonetopicofserviceabilitywithinthataspectofserviceability.EachparagraphinanOccupantRequirementScale(seeFigs.2through9)summarizesonelevelofserviceabilityonthattopicthatoccupantsmightrequire.ThematchingentryintheFacilityRatingScale(seeFigs.2through9)isatranslationoftherequirementintoadescriptionofcertainfeaturesofafacilitythat,takenincombination,indicatethatthefacilityislikelytomeetthatlevelofrequiredserviceability.TheentriesintheFacilityRatingScale(seeFigs.2through9)areindicativeandnotcomprehensive.Theyareforquickscanning,toestimateapproximately,rapidly,andeconomically,howwellanofficefacilityislikelytomeettheneedsofoneoranothertypeofoccupantgroupovertime.Theentriesarenotformeasuring,knowing,andevaluatinghowanofficefacilityisperforming.1.4Thisclassificationcanbeusedtoestimatethelevelofserviceabilityofanexistingfacility.Itcanalsobeusedtoestimatetheserviceabilityofafacilitythathasbeenplannedbutnotyetbuilt,suchasoneforwhichsingle-linedrawingsandoutlinespecificationshavebeenprepared.1.5Thisclassificationindicateswhatwouldcauseafacilitytoberatedatacertainlevelofserviceability,butitdoesnotstatehowtoconductaserviceabilityratingnorhowtoassignaserviceabilityscore.ThatinformationisfoundinPracticeE1334.ThescalesinthisclassificationarecomplementarytoandcompatiblewithPracticeE1334.Eachrequirestheother.
