【摘要】:ThisPartofBS7371specifiesrequirementsforcoatingsappliedbymechanicallyimpactingzincpowderontothecomponentsurface.Thecoatingsconsistprincipallyofzincandcanbelubricatedtogivecontrolledtorque/clampingforcepropertieswhenrequired(seeforexampleBS7371:Part2:1993).InadditiontotherequirementsinthisPartofBS7371,therequirementsinPart1ofthestandardwhichareapplicabletomechanicallyappliedzinccoatingsapply.ThisPartofBS7371alsospecifiesrequirementsforthefollowing:a)thecoatingthickness;b)thetypeofchromateconversiontreatmenttobeapplied;c)qualityassessmentofthecorrosionresistanceofunusedcoatedpartswhensubjectedtoneutralsaltspraytesting(seeforexampleBS7479:1991);d)adhesiontest.Annexesincludetablesindicatingsuitablecoatinggradesforstandardscrewthreadsandmethodsofdeterminationofcoatingthickness.
